Running you through a story that begins with the attraction's construction right through to the modern sequels (though not Jurassic World Dominion, as that was still in production during development and seems to veer away from Isla Nublar anyway), you'll see if you can do any better than the original, disaster-prone dino zoo. However, the team's approach to those Legacy elements is what sets it apart from the likes of Gloomhaven. They randomly draw three cards, choose one action card to play along with a dinosaur ability (spit, sprint, bite) and move their beasties accordingly. The buildings could have a secondary effect, at present once built they can only be used to improve entertainment. This building requires the player to roll equal to or above 7 in the Building skill, which could be a problem as Building is the weakness of the director.This means if the T-Rex gets Mr Genaro before Dr Hammond gets to the helicopter, Hammond is rendered almost useless and all but guarantees the dinosaur player another point. It’s a loving touch — despite the oddity of channeling the movie’s era as opposed to frames from the actual films. Players cannot intervene or help with other players’ actions, so you can only depend on your own skill to complete an objective. However, as The Director has the Buildings Craftmanship upgrade card, they have +2 to any Building roll.
