About this deal

first things first…this book doesn’t even deserve one star, but here we are. the wait for this review is over hehe, enjoy!<33 This by far has taken me the longest to finish a book as it just dragged on....The first 40% was a confusing mess. I’m still not sure I quite understand it’s purpose other than rambling. From Emery muttering “pretty words”... each chapter was something more rediculous...

Emery Winthrop’s enemy turned lover, bad boy turned CEO, rags to riches, Nash Prescott was a young man that had grown with a chest of experience. Having seen life in different forms and textures nothing could challenge him anymore until, of course, he realized that he was falling for the daughter of the family that he hated so much, the Emery Winthrop of the Winthrop family. PDF / EPUB File Name: Devious_Lies__-_Parker_S_Huntington.pdf, Devious_Lies__-_Parker_S_Huntington.epub this book brought out a side of me that doesn’t show a lot because my average rating for the books i read is around 4.25 stars. this review is so bad and poorly written, but at least it matches this book perfectly. i’m sorry it took so long for me to finally put up this review, but this book was just so bad that i seriously thought about not even writing a review for this one, but because ily all sm, here it is and i hope you enjoyed!😙now i need to recover and get out of this reading slump😩 He was always Reed Prescott's older brother to me. Unattainable. Forbidden. Something I'd never even considered." The play: A devious mother, a doting father, a scandal and lots of mysteries wrap the MC's. The writing had skill and was simple. Glad I came across this book.In the beginning, I thought of dnf-ing it because it felt really slow. But I continued because somehow I got the feel that the build was necessary. And boy, was it. This book has everything that a reader could want for. Amazing vocabulary that knew just how to convey the emotions in words, amazing plot with completely unexpected twists, the absolute right feels, a strong-willed h that doesn't once break (even though she had mighty reason to, in my opinion), a sexy hero who'll make you hate him something fierce in the beginning -but once the misunderstandings start clearing up, you'll end up loving him. It's not often that I come across an author who can make me FEEL the torment of the characters so entirely. I laughed often and hard, I cried something fierce, felt the conflict, the desperation, the will. The author not once fell into the frustrating trap of "telling and not showing", in fact, this book was all showing. This book is one of my absolute favorites.

He'd tranformed from the older brother Reed had once idolized to this monster neither of us could recognize.

I don't know where to start, and I know I can't do this story justice in my review, but this is one very special novel. It is FANTASTIC. This is a gem of a tale. It's big, it's gutsy, it's an amazingly well crafted enemies-to-lovers story. The lawyer said it would be Bottomley's first time in jail. He said: "His reaction on receiving the verdicts is perhaps indicative of the predicament he finds himself in and the future that is held for him."

I think Nash even said “what does that even mean.” I’m with him. With all her bantering and weird vocabulary, still more words.

My friends already know how a big mafia books obsessed I am and the funny thing is that I've read the only book of Parker that is non mafia related!!! Funny, ugh???
